Note: You can take an exam up to 3 times within your 1-year application period. Once you’ve taken the exam three times, you must wait until your application expires and reapply to retake it. Refer to the IIBA's Core BA Certification Handbook (subject to change). The BA Practice's 100% Success or Refund guarantee covers you for the first 1-year application with the IIBA. The 100% Success or Refund guarantee will restart with the student recommencing the process from" Enrol & First Exam Attempt" with us. 

 

The student must meet the qualification criteria as follows for the third (and final) exam attempt for the enrolled course:

1. Mandatory course and private mentorship:

   • Failing the second attempt, The BA Practice will require the student to enrol in the upcoming ​​session at no cost (value ranges from $899 - $1199 AUD) to the student AND may need the student to enrol in 1-2 mentor sessions at no cost (valued at $99 AUD / 45-minute session).

   • The BA Practice will provide a plan the student must follow to prepare for the exam. 

2. Mock Examination System - The BA Practice:

   • Must use the Mock Examination System provided by The BA Practice; 

   • Must pass each chapter-based simulation at least five times with 75% or above marks consecutively, excluding Flashcards and Match the Following; and

   • Must pass each full course-based simulation at least five times with 75% or above marks consecutively, excluding Flashcards and Match the Following.

   • Note: These results are in addition to the results gained by the student using our Mock Examination System previously to prepare for the first and second exam attempts. The BA Practice can filter and view the students' mock exam results.

3. Current IIBA Membership and the Exam Application:

   • The student must be a current member of the IIBA from enrolling in the course with The BA Practice until passing the exam. The BA Practice may require the student to show this as evidence; and 

   • The student must have a current application. For example, the student cannot claim the guarantee if the first exam application lapsed/expired, and now there is a subsequent application. 

4. Communicate with The BA Practice:

   • The student must communicate with The BA Practice within two calendar days of booking the third attempt and provide evidence that the third attempt exam is successfully booked. 

   • The student must communicate the third attempt exam result with The BA Practice within two calendar days after sitting the exam. The BA Practice will require official results as evidence. 

5. There must be a gap of a minimum of six weeks to a maximum of twelve weeks between the second unsuccessful and third attempt. 

6. The guarantee will lapse if:

   • The student does NOT sit the exam with the IIBA for any reason; ​

   • The student changes the exam dates with the IIBA for any reason;

   • The student has not prepared their environment when sitting the online exam, e.g., Internet issues, firewall issues, system compatibility issues, background noise, or anything else that prevents the student from concentrating on the exam; and 

   • The student is caught having carried out any misconduct.

Payment to the student by The BA Practice:

Provided all the conditions are met throughout the journey as defined by The BA Practice, and in the unlikely event the student fails the third attempt, The BA Practice will consume the loss and refund the full course fee to the student (minus bank fees/charges). The course completion certification provided by The BA Practice will remain active for the period per the IIBA rules.
