The Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) course prepares you for obtaining one of the most prestigious and globally respected certifications in business analysis. The certification is backed by The International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). As the global thought leader and voice of the business analysis community, IIBA® actively supports the profession's recognition and works to maintain international standards for the ongoing development of the practice and certifications. ​

This course will focus on:

 

• Understanding the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK®) v3.0;

• Acquiring fluency in the terminology of the BABOK®; and

• Identifying the tools and techniques part of a Business Analyst’s toolkit. 

 

The BA Practice's Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) training entails:

 

• An interactive question and answer review with an IIBA® certified instructor;

• Discussions based on the BABOK® version 3.0; and

• Collaborative learning and practice tests to improve the learning process and help you gain the CBAP® credential.

Our participants will receive:

• An e-copy of the BABOK® Guide v3;

• A relationship diagram of knowledge areas elements, inputs, outputs, guidelines, and techniques;

• A guide to help participants through the application process; and 

• A Course Completion Certificate with 35 Professional Development Hours. ​​

Please note: Participants wishing to study the Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA®) may choose to sit this CBAP® course. This enables CCBA participants to understand more advanced business analysis elements and collaborate with more skilled business analysts.

Classroom Course

​

You may view the location details at the time of booking the course. When the location is not displayed, the course will be based in Melbourne's CBD, and an exact location will be provided closer to the date via email or the booking page.

 

Please note: Due to COVID-19, all classroom courses have been postponed until further notice.

Exam Prerequisites

​

• Complete a minimum of 7,500 hours of Business Analysis work experience in the last ten (10) years;

• Within this experience, a minimum of 900 hours completed in 4 of the 6 BABOK® Guide Knowledge Areas, for a total of at least 3,600 of the required 7,500 total hours;

• Complete a minimum of 35 hours of Professional Development in the last 4 years;

• Provide two references;

• Agree to IIBA Code of Conduct;

• Agree to IIBA Terms and Conditions; and

• Schedule and pass the exam.

• Explore Perspectives, Guidelines, Techniques, and Key Terms; and 

• Exam preparations and application submission process.
